I don't know about the rest of you .. but I quite often fear for the fate of the world. I watched a video from SourceFed yesterday that says a good portion of people don't know how to spell anymore because of spell check.. which doesn't surprise me at all. I can't spell a lot of words that are probably considered common. I rely on spell check to alert me to my spelling mistakes. Though I think part of that can be blamed on our typing instructors who taught us to just type essay's without worrying about spelling and to go back and check it after the fact so as to be able to type faster. I can type 80wpm but I know I make a lot of mistakes along the way.. so who is right? Should we be more concerned about our spelling or our typing speed. I mean.. wasn't spell check invented for a reason? Another thing that concerns me is the level of reading these days... do kids read like they used to? I used to read all the time as a kid? The novels they write for kids t...

I'm SUPER excited to announce two things.... the first being my blog has over 2000 total views!!! This is pretty exciting for me considering I'm not sure why you people even read my horrible grammar and random thoughts... but for all that do.. thank you so much! You all make me feel like I'm not alone... and not just in the squishy heart three times its size kind of way... also in the "I love bacon so much I could eat it every day" kind of way... which is equally important, IMO. So…. It’s Tuesday and that means it’s………….. brought to you by Motherhood Truth! For this week’s zombie discussion, I’d like to get real about zombie’s and the approaching zombie apocalypse. Ask yourself this… do you realistically see yourself surviving? So it’s midterms…  and so I’m a little agitated.. you can’t tell can you? But seriously…. I am wicked stressed. Add to that.. the fact that I typed a whole fucking blog post in blogger and clicked something and it all went *poof*… like a fucking genie.. except less awesome cuz there was no wishing involved. So now I have to remember what the fuck I was writing about. I know I wrote a bunch of shit about things I was pissed off about… and considering I’m now especially pissed off…. It just makes logical sense. so not only do I love that song, but I LOVE Fridays and so it's THINGS I LOVE FRIDAYS! On this 2nd edition of Things I Love Fridays I have a bunch of new things that I love and would like to share with you. Tim Hortons coffee - I know those of you in the US don't know what I'm talking about but up here in the Great White North we have a coffee outlet that I would guess resembles Dunkin Donuts in the US. It's Canadians go-to joint in the morning on their drive in to work and I am no different. It's where you might hear phrases such as "Double Double", "Triple Triple" and "a 20 pack of Timbits please". It was even featured on an episode of HIMYM (How I Met Your Mother) and if you don't know the greatness that is that show, well then.. I can't help you. Anyhow, I'm sipping my half coffee, half hot chocolate with a shot of caramel this morning and loving how it makes my morning at work just a little bit more tolerable. ...
