there's a reason people call it the butt crack of dawn

and it's because it sucks big fat butt crack donkey balls. two days a week I have to get up at 530am to be on the bus to school at 6am..... to be AT school at 8am... damn horrible long transit times! anyhow... I'm home now and it's time for Thursday Tunes!  This weeks song is one that always seems to put me in a good mood. I was a child of the 80s but in the 90s is where the music really blossomed. I loved the grunge and the alternative music that came out of the time. Most people know who Nirvana is, but not all know of this song and it's one of my favorites by them... It's also in one of my favorite movies "Mad Love" with Drew Barrymore and Chris O'Donnell... I must have watched it a zillion times when I was a teenager. To this day, I still love it! Even if you're not a huge grunge fan or a huge Nirvana fan... I still think you could appreciate this song. If not, well then... go fuck yourself. NO.. I'm just kidding... I'm not th...

the time the popo came for me........... now with more vagina!

Vagina seems to be a common topic in some of the blogs that I read and so for some reason now, I've got vagina on the brain. I guess there could be worse things to have in your brain... except if I were a lesbian. Then I guess vagina on the brain is just an every day occurrence. Or maybe it's not. Are lesbians obsessed with vagina like straight men are obsessed with vagina? Next time I talk to my lesbian friends, I'm going to ask them. google image results for vagina on the brain Anyhow... it's Thursday Tunes! This Thursday I'm going to share a tune that reminds me of a good time from my past that I shared with my family. It's only a week until the one year anniversary of my mums passing and I'm really missing her more than I can even put into words. This story makes me miss her so hardcore that I can barely stand it, and happy all at the same time. PS - this video is NSFW or probably your children... except all I could find was the censored version...

I'm a failure at this blog.. and apparently in my dreams

so I forgot two weeks in a row now about Thursday Tunes.. and yesterday I had such a bad migraine that I couldn't even fathom doing my Things I Love Fridays blog.. my poor readers (all 9 of them) are sure disappointed, I'm sure. They are probably reading this in disgust thinking, well how is she going to make it up to us. How? I'm not, cuz I'm an asshole like that. Though I might have to scrap those regimented blog topics when I go back to school cuz of course Thursday and Friday are two of the 3 days that I'm at school til 5pm and I won't get home til almost 8pm. After relaxing and homework, this blog is probably going to take a back seat. Maybe I'll have to change it to Tuesday Tunes and Things I Hate Mondays... I kind of like that better, actually. Last night I had a very strange dream.. it's still fresh in my mind, so I'm going to recount it. Mostly for me, but all you out there in blogland are going to benefit as well from my retelling. I...

I'm not racist... I hate everyone equally

Image
it's true though.. I'm not a racist as I really do hate everyone. Although not all the time.. mostly when I'm driving home and people are driving like little old bitties and I wish I had a tank so I could ram them all off the road and be on my merry way... but wait.. no, I didn't mean that. (yes I did) Anyhow... it's time for Thursday Tunes! This weeks tune is an oldie but a goodie.. and it has a message I think we could all take to heart. Sly & The Family Stone - Everyday People Sometimes I'm right and I can be wrong My own beliefs are in my song The butcher, the banker, the drummer and then Makes no difference what group I'm in I am everyday people, yeah yeah There is a blue one who can't accept the green one For living with a fat one trying to be a skinny one And different strokes for different folks And so on and so on and scooby dooby doo-bee Oh sha sha - we got to live together I am no better and neither are you We are the ...

sing to me bubbly

Image
so it's time for Thursday Tunes... a name I have given to the day I try to force my unique and sometimes unusual music tastes on you. Today I'd like to feature an artist that those of you in the US might not be so familiar with as he comes out of Canada. He's sexy, funny and has a voice that gives me some massive lady wood... too bad he's recently married! Pretty much every time I hear this song my hips start to move and I can't help but sing along.. no matter where I am. Much to the embarrassment of my bf who pretended he didn't know me last time I started singing along to this while we were walking through the mall. Yes it's Michael Bublé.. pronounced Booblay NOT Bubbly as pronounced by my friends grandmother. Grandmother - "Can you play that Bubbly guy, he sounds so nice" Grandson - "It's Bublé Grandma" Grandmother - "Yeah whatever.. play him.. I love his voice" Grandmothers are so funny. Anyhow... he...

80s workout montage or zombie fighting theme music... either way it's rad.

Since I'm still trying to figure out what I want to do with this blog or even if I'm going to continue posting.. this might be a moot point.. but alas, here it is. I think we're going to have a musical day here in fuzzyland ... there are so many fabulous songs which I love that I want to share with the world. (I just realized that I typed "we're" like I have multiple personalities.. which in fact, might be somewhat rooted in truth)... but, I digress. This is one of my favorite songs, and every time it graces my iPod.. I start dancing and imagining I'm in an 80s workout montage. I don't know why I think that's what it sounds like, but in my brain it does. It should be noted that I don't do any workout moves while dancing.. just moving around funny and usually while driving causing other drivers to suspect (I think) that I'm having some kind of seizure.. and my bf to hide his face and pretend he doesn't know me. I just can't help ...
